It's so easy to fall in love with this town! Or : "How a city so similar to a Dutch one can be even better than the real thing." :-) Købnhavn has been the capital of Denmark for hundreds of years and is Scandinavia's largest and most happening city. Always international, it's strategic location at the Øresund guarantees a lively port-town ambiance, but without the raunchiness. Indeed, you're at the port of Scandinavia, and things are running cleanly and efficiently here! In my personal opinion, Copenhagen might vie with Stockholm and Bergen for "Most beautiful Nordic city", but nowhere did I find so many facets so beautifully blended together as here. Must say that the food in there is awful. A real tourist trap if you ask me. They recently got 1 out of 6 stars for their food in a major danish newspaper. Still expensive though! | yooperprof Sun Aug 7, 2005 03:51 UTC
