We were here for only a couple of days, but there's an instant likeness about Perigueux. It's a nice little old town with a beautiful cathedral and the countryside around is very nice too. The city is the capital of the Dordogne department and as such it is very popular with Dutch tourists so don't think you'll be alone here!

Nice to know that it can be swarming with Dutch tourists.. Then you know when not to go :-) Not during the summer but outside the real touristy season
