This is an "oldie" but "goodie" in terms of family Christmas presents. As our kids grew older, we found we wanted to mark our holiday times together by sharing time and adventures with each other...something that is hard to do when as a "parent" you suddenly turn into one of THEM! Our first such Christmas trip (1995) was to Cancun, Mexico -- where we more or less just based ourselves for travel up and down the Yucatan coast. It was a success. |
