Hard Work

by Radiomom - last update: Jul 2, 2004

My company has an annual Sales and Marketing Meeting. We are all put up in a hotel and get to spend three days polishing that SELL SELL SELL stuff. Serious Researchers, like myself, are invited to help with the methodological education of our sales forces. Much of the time is spent in over-airconditioned meeting rooms, and most of the meals are typical hotel conference cuisine (give that -3 forks). But we do get some occasional time off to checkout life outside the hotel, and blow off some steam. Yes, we do have a blast, and the Las Vegas location was a success. The first time we went was 2001 -- we went again in 2004. The second time, we REALLY did it right -- stayed at the Bellagio!

Cons:"The "Big" shows are expen$ive (Blue Man, O, etc.)"
In A Nutshell:"Party, party, party...don't lose your shirt!"

Wonderful page, Diane! Las Vegas really fascinated me - and your page gives a great overview of what's going on there! I love the petroglyphes, although they are not typical of L.V.!!!
