    • Try to visit one of the little sea-side vacation towns people from San Juan flock to on weekends. I visited Boqueron, which is one example. While there, my friend and I met a woman who trains for triathalons. She loaned us snorkel equipment and sent us to a 'local' beach where we saw the most incredible variety of live coral. (Pictured: Dr Kris -- glad she is fluent in Spanish, or I might not have ventured out on this zip around the island!)
