| 1006 Restaurant in Federal Hill |
While we moved to North Carolina mid2005, Maryland was a terrific place to raise our family. And the climate improved considerably since I first moved to the DC area from NYC. We were able to advantage of everything DC and Baltimore have to offer -- plus in a few hours we could be at the beach or in the mountains.
I've always felt "Suburbs is Suburbs," but to be honest, suburban Maryland was very very good to me.
Pictured -- we spent a fantastic day walking around Federal Hill, and had dinner al fresco at this delightful restaurant (see tips) |

nepalgoods Fri Oct 20, 2006 08:05 UTC Maryland looks very nice! | starship Thu Oct 6, 2005 13:29 UTC Maryland is a beautiful state, but most of what I've seen was on the Eastern Shore. Durham must be really special if it could pull you away from Maryland! | frankcanfly Tue Aug 17, 2004 19:49 UTC Genuine observations of this fine state! I'm a BIG fan of C&O Canal Towpath.... I've explored every inch of it!! | littlesam1 Wed Aug 4, 2004 19:06 UTC I would like to look up that neighborhood restaurant. It sounds wonderful. |
