"Small but bustling hinterland town" Cooroy by colin_bramso

Cooroy Travel Guide: 8 reviews and 22 photos

Located on the Bruce Highway about 20 kilometres inland from Noosa Heads, Cooroy has a population of about 2,500.

It's a bit of a shopping centre for people from the surrounding areas so it's usually quite busy for a small town. There's a large IGA supermarket, a big popular pub and a range of other shops and restaurants.

Cooroy railway station is on on the Nambour and Gympie North line. It's part of the Queensland Rail City network and has daily services to Bundaberg and Rockhampton.
