This Tip was written before the tsunami. I read that the ground floor of the hotel was badly damaged, but I understand it's now even better than when we stayed.Low-rise building around a garden courtyard in a great location, just across the road from the beach.
Unique Qualities: Good rooms, excellent coffee shop with buffet meals plus great Thai restaurant in the garden, open plan bar also in the garden, a very good steak house and a pizzaria by the pool. Whatever your taste in food, you'll find something here that you'll enjoy.
