To get to The Cachtice Castle (Ruins), first I had to reach Nove Mesto nad Vahom.
This laidback town lies between Piestany -Trencin road.
Then, it was a 15-minute train ride to a small village called Visnove.
From there, me & Marek walked up to the hill which sits the Cachtice Hrad !

SUDDENLY ! I saw the white stones, white rocks; The walls of The Cachtice Hrad !
Amidst the trees, the white walls stand out gallantly ! It looked amazing ! I felt that part of me was flying on air when I was there reaching this place !

Amazing Walk...

To get to The Cachtice Castle (Ruins), first I had to reach Nove Mesto nad Vahom.

We continued with our 'journey' up the hill, again the path would be filled with shady trees...I asked Marek would there be any wild animals in the trees, he just said, "No, maybe snakes & some poisonous insects !".

While walking, I glanced over the trees & saw some amazing sceneries !
The Slovak plains as I want to call it...fields & grass & rooftops & hills looming in the distance ! Great !

Next, we would be climbing the hill of where the castle ruins would be situated !
The paths were full of trees, on the left, on the right sides.
A nice shady walk, I could say.
Marek is again on my photo !

You can see Marek on the left photo ! Walking fast because he has long legs, while I would be clambering behind him, with a ciggi in hand !
As in was still in the morning, it made a good walk for me. The beautiful sceneries around me were the added bonus in reaching my top destination.

Directions: By car, Cachtice Village is 7 km south-west of Nove Mesto;
Visnove & the castle are 5 km from there on a side road south of the village !
