On this photo, you can see my friend Alain; First he took me around Budapest by taking metros & once I got the grip on HOW to take the metros myself, the whole new world would open to me !
I would just hop on & hop off, taking stops at my fancy !
Charted everywhere with the help of the metros...
You guys MUST do this also !

To travel on trams, trolleybuses, regular buses & the HEV ( as far as the city limits) please get a ticket.
A travelcard is very useful.
