KUTNA HORA<<<<<CESKY KRUMLOV>>>>>BRNO

CZECH REPUBLIC
Monday 3rd June 2002
The most beautiful medieval town in Europe ? Well, why not. Reached here from Prague & all excited to see this town. First impression ? I was not very wrong indeed. The church Of St. Vitus, the S-shaped river, the chateau Tower, the cobble-stoned streets are landmarks potrayed by many photos & guidebooks.
I immersed myself in this town, feeling that I was trapped in an era where the men were still wearing tights & the women still wore lace-y bras ! Ha!
Not many tourists yet when I arrived here so getting a bed was pretty easy; Ryba Hotel, was the name where the girls & guys wanted to stay here forever as if they forgot their homes. Well, at night these people got drunk 'cos beer was cheap they said. Nonchalant, I don't drink at least not 'till drunk, that is. I had to keep my sanity intact othwerwise I could easily climb up to a wrong bed. That's why I only stayed here for 1 night because I had the feeling that I might be sleeping on a wrong bed on the 2nd night.
Krumlov Castle stood strongly on the hill, overlooking the river where activities like canoeing, kayaking & free-jumping into the river were to be seen.
Cesky Krumlov is an amazing place to be in if you are visiting Czech Republic. Good connections to Prague & nearby towns. From Cesky Krumlov, I took a bus to Brno.

MUST SEE...

CESKY KRUMLOV is a beautiful town indeed !
You must come here if you are in Czech Republic...
I don't care how you reach here, but once in this beautiful place, just enjoy the sights all around the S-shaped river, going through Cesky Krumlov !
The cobble-stoned streets feel like it hasn't changed for the last few hundreds years !
The old sights are pretty intact where going up is the best to enjoy the amazing views of Cesky Krumlov !

I arrived in Cesky Krumlov on Monday 3rd June 2002, by bus...from Prague. It was a pleasant journey & Cesky Krumlov is so beautiful!
I stayed one night in Cesky Krumlov & the day following continued my journey to Brno.
Please have a visit to all these places on my travel pages.

Thank You.
