The Ovens...

These are the photos that I took around Terezin.Founded in 1780 by Emperor Joseph II; It was state-of-the-art bulwark against The Perussians.
In the 19th century the town within the Main Fortress was made a garrison, while The Lesser Fortress served as a jail & a WW I prisoner-of-war camp.

Well, the last photo of the oven. After this I would come out from the small building where this exhibition was held. Thanked the doorman who just smiled at me...

Another photo of the ovens ! I didn't bother to know about how the ovens functioned ! They looked eerie to me anyway. In the exhibition, I was the only person in there & there was the doorman who was at the door...

I took some photos of the ovens; I didn't touch any of them but I could see some humans' remnants still stucked to the ovens ! I thought it would be that anyway...Come here & see for yourself !

A photo of the ovens to burn human bodies. Instead of buried them, they were put through these ovens.

The small exhibition was more on torture gadgets like the operation table (on the photo)...where doing the Nazi's occupation, the operation table where they did some experiments on humans !

The Small Town Terezin...

These are the photos that I took around Terezin.Founded in 1780 by Emperor Joseph II; It was state-of-the-art bulwark against The Perussians.

After a bit lost walking along thick bushes, I came to this area of cemeteries. It's The Jewish Cemetery, you can see the monument built for the perished Jews, on the left side of the photo.
In this area, there's also a small exhibit here. I walked there...

Another Railway Track...

Another railway track photo by me ! These rails are no longer in use, even if you feel like walking on it to trace where it would lead to. The rails are just a few meters long just to 'preserve' the area as it was then during the WW I.

I also stumbled upon a railway track ! There's no train station in Terezin; These railtracks were there for the purpose of transporting the prisoners & the officers into Terezin.

Some areas of the walls are properly kept. Like on this photo, I stumbled upon one wall where there was a path leading to the wall & there was a door as well. It was locked unfortunately...

Again, another photo of The Main Fortress Walls. The walls look serene covered by the bushes...I moved along.
