More Small Ships...

More small ships docked by the small harbour in Volosko...
My last photo in Volosko when slowly, I would creep into Opatija !
Just to end the story, I spent a few hours in Opatija, took some photos...
Then, took a bus back to Camping Preluk; Collected my luggage & caught a bus back to Opatija again !
Waited for some hours 'cos the bus to my next destination, Pula was late !
Started to chat with a Swedish/Chilean couple...

Walk Under...

Walked under this arch which to me something that I had to do anyway...
There were some writings on the wall which I couldn't deter the meanings.
Maybe some Croatian music bands, maybe some naughty cursings; Nobody would tell me just as I wanted it to be !

Moved To Another...

Continued walking & moved to another bench, catching the sights around me.
I noticed that there are people, mostly old folks...just lying on the pebble-sand beach (artificial beach ?) by the embankment/promenade...
Couldn't care less about me being there watching their activities; I wanted to join me but it was too cold for me !...

Found A Bench...

Found myself a bench & sat myself there, watching some good sights around me.
People jogging passed me, looking at me, no smiling...I didn't smile back.
The sea breeze was upon me, I had to smoke a cigarette to enjoy the the moment !...

Walking...

Keep on walking, on the way..I saw these yachts docked at the pier....
Very nice photo for my VT Page I was thinking to myself....
This small harbour would remind the days when tuna fishing was the main source of income in the bay, in Volosko.

Walking Along The Embankment....

Walking along the promenade;....Will give you some nice sceneries of this fishing village, near Opatija.
Being there, look around you as I did...the quiet atmosphere & the feel-good vibes can be found in this small village by the sea...

Then...

Then, I managed to take this amazing photo (which you can see as the main pic on this Volosko page of mine...) by the small pier in Volosko !
The sun was just getting out, the sky was just getting ready to abosrb the sunlight !
Looking at this photo makes me feel good about life !...

The Volosko Village...

Finally I reached Volosko by walking from the Camping Preluk ! Very quiet...
Some people were just woke up & getting ready for the day.
I took a photo of this sight where I could see old & new buildings lie next to one another...but the sea beckoning me more !
Let's take a look there !

Opatija Was Getting...

Opatija was getting nearer ! It was a great feeling walking by the road, by the sea...seeing these wonderful Croatian/Kvarner morning scenes...
I could take many photos but I didn't, but the memories always always linger in my head up to this day !
I wanted to see Opatija during the day...Maybe Ivan loves the nightlife but I love the daylight !...

From Camping Preluk...

From Camping Preluk, I planned myself to reach Opatija.
Now, Camping Preluk is situated just by the sea, about 1 km away from Volosko. It is just by the road side...
I packed my big backpack & approached the Registeration Office.
Told them that i would leave my luggage there & I would walk to Volosko, then to Opatija.
I thought to capture some really nice morning sights along the way !
I guess I succeeded !
