Bridges & Canals... Canals / Bridges. Review

Brugge (also known as Bruges) is one of Europe's best-preserved medieval towns ! Between the 12th & 15th centuries, Brugge was the centre of art.
Brugge is enclosed in an oval-shaped series of canals which make this town so enchanting !

Another photo by me of such bridges...Can you spot me somewhere in the photo ?
A full day around Brugge would be a great excursion from Brussels. Just wander around this place, cross over the bridges, take the boat excursion, enter the museums, shopping on the stalls in The Markt.

For people who don't want to take the boat excursions, then you could still walk over the bridges on the canals.
The bridges were left as they were centuries ago ! There are many of such bridges all over Brugge ! Take your picks !

My photo on the left would be a good reason why you guys should take this boat excursion ! Seeing the buildings much closer, feeling what it would be like for people centuries ago cruising down the canals, carrying goods, carrying passengers...or even having 'a love story' on & along these canals...

Address: George STAEL Katelijnestraat 4.

Me & Reg took a boat excursion; It was great seeing the buildings, the bridges, the trees...surrounded the canals !
Some people might avoid this, too touristy ?
Certainly NOT ! I could say that this is the ultimate enjoyment being in Brugge.

Museums & Houses... Medieval Architecture. Review

There on the photo my friend Reg is posing next to an old building. Looked like a house & I would want to live in there if I would have the chance...Brugge, I was told...would shine if there would be no tourists around. This is simply because the old houses are still intact & the feel would be like living in Brugge, centuries back !
That to me would be an amazing feeling indeed !

Another beautiful building in Brugge. Looks like it was centuries old; Brugge is full of museums & they used to be houses lived by the people from centuries ago...

Brugge is enclosed in an oval-shaped series of canals which make this town so enchanting !

Walking around Brugge is a satisfying feeling indeed because we could see all the medieval buildings, churches, cobble-stoned paths taking by people centuries ago !
Look closely on the photo, you could even see a romantic couple kissing (they could be dancing...) on the street !

The photo shows one of the most commanding sights in Brugge, The Belfry; also known as BELFORT. It's 84 m high & was built in 13th century.
There are 336 steps to the top...

Town Square... Pictures / City Center. Review

First, we arrived at The Town Square. This is also The Markt (the market).
This market square is now pre-dominantly occupied by people, horse-drawn carriages & also market stalls. A lively atmosphere depends when the time (morning or noon...)you arrive in Brugge.

The photo shows my friend Reg, posing for me...
