Villers-la-Ville

The Ruins...

This photo is showing another part of thr ruins.
Really, for me it felt like a paradise also trapped in these ruins 'cos I felt that I was in another world !
These were the first ruins that I came to which would make many more ruins around Europe that I would be at !
I guess I owe it all to The Ruins of Villers-la-Ville !

Another photo around the area. While walking in the area, the breeze just whispering to me, maybe saying something ! I was kinda freaked out ! I told about my feelings to my friends & they were just laughed !

Villers-la-Ville

The Ruins..

The area around the ruins looked so serene & quiet. There was nobody at the time when were there which was really great for me & my friends.
Although there were some construction workers doing their jobs around the ruins but they could be forgiven by me in capturing the area around this amazing solitude ruins...

Villers-la-Ville

The Ruins...

Within a brief span of time, modern visitors are carried back to the period of its history. Rich in discoveries, tensions & ruptures.

The photo shows Dmitry & Reg, taken by me. We were all over the ruins area & it's a vast area for me at least as it was the first time for me at such ruins...

The Ruins...

Nestling in the valley of the Thyle, an affluent of the Dyle, the ruins of the Cistercian abbey of Villers-La-Villa, are one of the most extraordinary witnesses in Europe to the way in which the monks of the Cistercian order lived.

The photo is me & Dmitry amidst the ruins...
