Even in The Nave, there are several tombs by the walls...I took a snap on one of them.

This was taken towards the entrance...Under the big stained glass window is the door...The west door.

Impressive ! Truly impressive !...
The height of the gothic churches in the late Middle Ages often created problems for their architects, especially when it came to supporting a heavy central tower...
John Wastell solved this problem by bracing the crossing of The Nave with relieving arches & the use of graceful bars of intricately fretted stoneworks...
Like you see the 'bridge' like structure between the arches on my photo ?
That's what I'm talking about...

I started to take photos not knowing that I had to pay...So, I did !
The lady gave me a sticker to be pasted on my shirt (I felt like a journalist !) telling the world that I could take as many photos as I liked !

Caught a sight of another statue adorning the wall of the nave inside The Canterbury Cathedral...I thought this statue looked a bit Indian-ish...What do you think ?

After we entered by the door; I entered through the west door by the way...I glanced upwards & caught this nice roof tracery, adorning with small coats of arms...
