Oxford Night Life...

Oxford has a vibrant night life ! Filled with students of all ages from all around the world !
This 2nd photo was taken by me also along Cornmarket Street, which is filled with KFC & McDonalds, mobile phone shops, banks & such like.
Students were hanging out on this street...
Me & Pat actually settled for our dinner in KFC !..After not finding the best place for us to eat !
Patrick was telling me that it was the first time that he had a KFC meal !
My fault !

I would be more interested to take some photos of the towers around Oxford but we had to be back to the hotel because we were too tired, after the whole day driving around THE COTSWOLD ! [please click]
Besides, because of the poor lights...it's hard to capture those beautiful towers during the night...
Hence, this was my last night photo in Oxford.

Oxford Night...

This is the famous Carfax Tower in Oxford.
Taken by me from the east facade the church clock is adorned by two quarter boys, who hit the bells at every quarter of the hour.
The Tower is all that remains of the 13th century St. Martin's Church. Try climb to the top of the 74 foot high tower is rewarded by an excellent view over central Oxford.
Of course, we didn't go up the tower on that night...

Directions: Carfax Tower stands at the conjunction of St. Aldate's, Cornmarket, Queen, and High Street in Central Oxford.
