One of the most beautiful in the world ! GDANSK ! - Poland

One of the most beautiful in the world ! GDANSK !

The Most Beautiful Gdansk !...

I just adore Gdansk !
It's certainly one of the most beautiful cities that I have been to in Europe !
It is by the sea, has a river running through it; Rich in history & many great looking buildings to attract people coming to see them with their own eyes !
The laid back vibes suit me just nice & this would be a place that I would come again if ever I'm in Poland again...
Have a visit to this place yourself; Maybe get in touch with people to show you around. It is worth to be in Poland just to see this place alone !

Malbork Castle from the train... - Poland

Malbork Castle from the train...

A Brief Train Stop...

From Warsaw,...where would I go next ?
Right to the sea !
Not exactly, but the beautiful city of Gdansk !
Nevertheless, before I managed to reach Gdansk, the train that I took stopped for about 20 minutes next to one of the biggest castles in Europe, The Malbork Castle !
So, whatever I could see of this castle were from the train anyway...but I do agree that visiting Malbork Castle would also be a great highlight in Poland !
Too bad that I shall save it till next visit to Poland to carry this task...

One sight in Pulawy... - Poland

One sight in Pulawy...

South-East Of Poland..

While in Warsaw, I took one day excursions to the South-East of Poland...
I have some beautiful memories from the places that I went to in the south-east of Poland.
First, Pulawy.
A scenic town, near Kazimierz Dolny. A bit further from Lublin. All 3 could be covered in one day.
Pulawy is green. Lots of history from the medieval to the neo-classical.
People were laidback, friendly & proud of their southern Polish cultures.

Then Of Course Warsaw... - Poland
Then Of Course Warsaw...

Then, I continued to the Polish capital of Warsaw !
I was so fortunate to have a friend staying there who let me stayed at his place for 3 nights !
I had a good walk around warsaw with my friend Andrej who talked about all the pro's & con's of his hometown, Warsaw.
To my sights, Warsaw could sometimes be busy, but not from morning till night...
I could stay longer in Warsaw as I really liked the laid-back vibes of its people...but maybe some of you would have different views alltogether anyway.

A Brief Excursion... - Poland
A Brief Excursion...

While in Czestochowa, I had a brief excursion to a good castle ruin by the name of Olsztyn Castle...
Although in ruins it's well preserved & offering very night sceneries overlooking Olsztyn village...
It's very easy to reach this place from Czestochowa anyway, every half hour or so...

MY OLSZTYN PAGE...

*Note : There are 2 places by the name of Olsztyn in Poland; VT only lists Olsztyn in the upper region of Poland whereas the Olsztyn Castle ruins are only half an hour away from Czestochowa, which is in the middle region of Pland.

Lublin town... - Poland

Lublin town...

Lublin...

Lublin is the biggest town in the south-east of Poland. It has a good connection by road or by rail to various destinations around this region.
Lublin as a city has so much to offer. A castle, Old Town Gates, Old City Wall are almost still intact to woo tourists to this beautiful big town.

The entrance of Jasna Gora Monastery... - Poland

The entrance of Jasna Gora Monastery...

I Left Krakow For A Sacred Place...

Then, continuing my journey...I managed to reach Czestochowa to see The Black Madonna...
It's a relaxed town when I arrived there although at certain times of the year this place will be filled with philgrims from the world over !
It is definitely worth a visit to Jasna Gora Monastery where the wooden panel of the Black Madonna situated.
There's a museum as well where you get to know about Czestochowa & the history lies within this 'rich' place !

Walk on the railway tracks...in Brzezinka - Poland

Walk on the railway tracks...in Brzezinka

Near The Auschwitz Camp...

If what you will see in Auschwitz Camp would make you want to see more, then walk or take a bus (departed frequently from the Auschwitz Camp) to another gruesome sight at Birkenau Camp !
In Polish, Birkenau is known as Brzezinka...
This place is certainly bigger but NONE the better than Auschwitz.
It's a learning experience for me, it's all historical facts that I hope will never be repeated again !

A Bigger Attraction...

A bigger attraction, maybe to some people to reach or stay in Krakow, is to be able to go to 'the saddest place on earth !'...
The Auschwitz Camp or in Poland it's known as The Oswiecim Camp...
It's free to enter but if you need a tour guide, you have to pay ! I chose to pay because I needed an explaination of everything that I saw there.
I couldn't explain more, it's either you visit my Auschwitz page or be there & see what is remains of the so-called HOLOCAUST !

It is made by salt !...in Wieliczka - Poland

It is made by salt !...in Wieliczka

While In Krakow...

While in Krakow, you must visit 2 places each with its own attractions...
The first one is Wieliczka Salt Mine...
It was my first experience inside the underground so it was a memory to be cherished forever !
There are many sights of course inside the salt mine, make sure your camera is handy all the time !
It is only about 1 hour or so from Krakow, so a visit to this place is a must !
More details to reach the place on here :
