I reached Madaba late as planned, from Amman. It was around 12 pm although I wanted to reach here at 10 am.
I was late because I had some complications at the photo shop in Amman while the guy was trying to upload my digital photos into a CD-R...
Anyway, from the bus station in Madaba, I dragged my luggage to find the hotel that I had booked earlier the previous day in Amman. Ahmed booked it for me...
1/2 hour later, found it. Checked in. I wanted the rooftop because in a way I wanted to experience how to sleep at the rooftop !
The receptionist, called Rehad advised me not to sleep up there as at the moment Madaba was dusty; It would be unpleasant experience for me.
I noticed the dusts flying around even while looking for the hotel anyway so I followed her advice & booked myself in a room instead.
Rehad was really really nice ! Too bad that now I don't have any photo of her (& Musa, the other receptionist) as all the photos from my digital camera that I took in & around Madaba, The Dead Sea, Mt Nebo, Karak Castle & Petra were gone forever while having them downloaded into a CD-R; This incident was in Petra...
In fact, there's a connection between what had happened to my digital camera in Amman to ALL my photo getting lost in Petra !
This is an advise !
