Cute Statue... Le Marais Review

Walking towards George Pompidou Centre now...saw this cute little statue. I think it's in a little square near the George Pompidou Centre.

Still in Le Marais area...Walking & chatting; Feel good about the walk for me !
Alain & Adele were explaining to me about the area...I didn't see any men playing fiddles though.

So, we arrived in Le Marais area...
It was pretty quiet when we there, almost no activities.
Just some buildings bearing the sight of this area in Paris.

The Area Infront of Arc de Triomphe... Champs Elysées Review

This is an area infront of Arc de Triomphe called :

CHAMPS- ELYSEES;Many people, loitering around & walk futher the restaurants will be lining the streets where we also had our lunch...
Also the shopping area in Paris & Alain was telling me that most of world-known Paris designers also live in this area...Swell.

We continued walking...I told Alain that I wanted to see men playing fiddles & he thought of Le Marais !

The nearest I could be to Arc de Triomphe...
There are four huge relief sculptures at the bases of the four pillars. These commemorate The Triumph of 1810 (Cortot); Resistance , and Peace (both by Etex); and The Departure of the Volunteers, more commonly known by the name La Marseillaise (Rude)...

After the above photo, we had our lunch...
A story to tell is that we went to a nice restaurant & waited in ages to be served ! Peak hours, y'see...
We stormed out grumpily !
Because I wanted to have my spaghetti bolognese, the rest of the gang (Alain, Pat & Adele...) had to find a good restaurant just for me !
We found it but still waiting in ages to be served !
Anyway, had what I craved for anyway, thanks guys ! Gossip about me later, okay...
The French Spaghetti Bolognese is so so good !
So, we continued our walks; I wanted to be nearer to Arc de Triomphe & snapped another photo !
Yep ! My tummy was as big as the man's on the photo !

For me at least, I didn't care so much about this monument until I saw an Indonesian love story set in Paris !
It's called Eiffel...I'm in Love !.

Shopping Area... Champs Elysées Review

After the boat cruise, we walked slowly to the shopping area in Paris !
No, we were not buying anything...just passing through some shops & people-watching.
The shop on the photo attracted me so much because of 'the designs' displayed !
LV....what does it mean ? Louise Vitton ?
