In Kyiv there are a lot of opportunities to do some sports.
There are a lot of fitness centres, sports clubs, etc.
In Makiiwska zatoka (Makiiwska bay), at Trukhaniw ostriw (Trukhaniv island) at Dnipro there are a kayak and yught clubs.
You can practice jogging in numerous parks.
So feel free with sports and enjoy:)

Who doesn't know this slogan ?:)
Everybody does. At least in Ukraine.
Well, in ex-USSR Dynamo was the only one team who 3 times took a Europe Cup of Country Cups (this competition does not exist anymore, only Europe champion cup and UEFA) and 3 times participated into semi-final. No any other team did it.
There was a joke : "USSR foot team is Dynamo Kyiv spoiled by the footballists from other teams". :)))

Equipment: However there was an accident much less known by the fans and even sport community. So-called " Match of death". It happened during Nazi occupation of Kyiv. Dynamo Kyiv won a match against Luftwaffe team and footballists were shot for this. There is a monument dedicated to this event.

Football is very popular now as well and if you are fan of the foot, just take the T'short, shirts and crosses and welcome to play. There are plenty of sport yards and green yards in numerous parks and forests.
