St. Petersbourg
Which will celebrate it's 300th anniversary the next year, was founded by the Russian empiror Peter 1, or Peter the Great. He called this city 'window to Europe'. Anf that's true because he invited architectures from many countries, especially from Italy, to elaborated projects of the building. This is reflected in the architecture, which keeps the features of many styles - barocco, classicism, etc.
It's really remarkable place to go,, if you ever go or planning tour to Russia, you definitely must see this city.

Come in June !!!!!

White nights
St.Petersburg is known by its white nights season. It starts in late May and lasts at the end of June or early July. Stunning beauty of the city at night with a daylight, looks mysterious.

I was in St. Petersburg to, but it now 11 years ago... must be changed a lot since my visit. But I liked it even that time. The Hermitage and St. Isaacs Cathedral was phenominous and I enjoyed the afternoon tea in the Grand Hotel Europe!
