Charming piece of Wales This small town is absolutely lovely. The city sea resort, at the Irish sea coast. The houses looks like from Agate Kristi’s novels. A god old England came from the pictures of the Encyclopaedia. I love this Wales architecture, with some Flemish influence. No skyscrapers, thanks God ! What was a great surprise for me, is seeing palms in UK. I’d never expect it. But people explained me there the reason of it. The area is protected by mountains from one side, and in the Irish sea it’s the place where the Golfstream is flowing. It makes the unique micro-climate that looks like “tropical paradise”. |
One of the biggest beaches in Wales Llandudno is one of the favourite beach towns for Wales inhabitants. It reminded me somehow Yalta. Not by the architecture, it's absolutely different. but by the long beach line and walking places along the beach,. with attractions, small shops, bars, etc. It must be very lively in summer time, I think people living nearby have quite of problems with sleeping :))) |
