Intro to Belgium

A small but very lovely and picturesque country, with nice cities and impressively welcomming people. I have a very good friend in Gent and I paid her a visit in Dec 98 Jan 99, exactly for New Year! It was a good period, when towns were decorated for the upcoming greatest hollidays in the year. I had a really good time in Belgium and like very much this country of Beer & Chocolate.

Pros and Cons

Pros:Architecture, people, beer, chocolate
Cons:don't know any :) tourists perhaps
In a nutshell:Little island of charm

lol, "Chikkory" is indeed called endive, "chicon" in belgian french and "witloof" in dutch...Don't worry, though I'm belgian, I don't like them neither, I only start being able to eat them when I really have too ;-))
