I live in Cobleskill, NY, which is a small rural town in Upstate New York. (People who live further north might dispute whether Cobleskill is truly "upstate.") The town is located just off of I-88 about 40 miles west southwest of Albany and 40 miles east northeast of Oneonta. This aerial photo below shows the campus of the State University of New York at Cobleskill in the foreground and the village in the background. Direction of photo is toward the east. Cobleskill might be a good place to stay if you want to go to Cooperstown (Baseball Hall of Fame), the Adirondacks, or south to the Catskills. |
