I stayed at the Cleopetra (bad pun)Hotel. It cost 12 Jordanian dinar per night. I could have done better had I negotiated. Price included just about all the tea I could drink, breakfast, and a ride to Petra's entrance. This is probably a one-star or half-star motel. It's for people who are traveling on the cheap and can accept modest accomodations. I believe that better accomodations at cheaper rates could have been found at the Wadi Moussa Inn. Unique Qualities: If you want to sit with an extended Jordanian family (cousins, uncles, friends, neighbors, etc.) and experience a setting that it more like a house than a hotel, then you might want to try Cleopetra.
