The world's tallest hotel: Grand Hyatt Shanghai. Cloud 9, located high up at 87th floor of Grand Hyatt Hotel, enable you to see the city below in its 360 degree splendour.
Favorite Dish: Me and my Cheese Cake at the highest lounge in the World!!! This tea set only cost RMB50, including a piece of cake of your choice and coffee/tea. Cheaper than paying to go up the Pearl TV Tower! Worth of Money. Highly Recommended!!!

1221. The Dining Room is on my MUST GO list, simply the finest resturants among all I visited in Shanghai. Located in the corner of an old small building, serving fabelous Shanghai/Chinese dishes with Western dining decor, relaxed and fun. We experienced high levels of warm service from the lady owner (front row 4th from the right). Rreservation is neccessary, always full house!
Favorite Dish: Appitizers (assorted). Apple Soup. Spicy Sliced Beef with Bread.

Xiao Nan Guo meaning "Little Southern Country" in Chinese. Following a tip from a retired Hong Kong food critic, I visited this renowned Shanghai restaurant. They have 7 brances of restaurants in town, while the one located inside a hotel in Huanghe Lustill considered best best, both in food quality and amosphere.
