    • Favorite Thing: Hiring a local guide is a good idea. There are many local guide looking for business in Yangshuo, only RMB10 per day, some of them good, some not. My first day guide was a hassle, keep bringing us to those tourist spots, caves etc with high extrance fees. 2nd day we met Sophia, she is VERY GOOD. She know what we want, show us around "off the beaten path" around Yangshuo, explore the montains, villages & fields. She speak good English too! I attached her contact info here, in case you need guide, you can call her to pick you up at the station:
