It's April and It's NEW ORLEANS

by vigi - last update: Feb 28, 2005

The mood is set. No, not for romance, but for the most American music styles, this is where jazz from. American artists have been coming to New Orleans in search of inspiration, understanding, and perhaps artistic romance.

Louisiana is different things to different people, yet its irresistible allure attracted me in some way. This is a state of contrasts. With a heritage that incorporates an intriguing blend of American Indian, Spanish, French, English, German, and African cultures, Louisiana is like a good gumbo, a hearty concorction of ingredients with enough variations to suit individual tastes.

New Orleans is a jambalaya. Besides much partying and cocktail tasting, one fun activity in New Orleans is exploring the city's countless food boutiques each night for dinner. Come enjoy the spice, the gentility, the worldly sophistication and the Southern hospitality.

Excellent page... Seems you really relish the cajun cuisine! (I do too!) Are you sure you weren't meant to be born here...?
