Antique Weight Machine Old Town Review

Fondest memory: I took this picture because first time I saw this kind of antique weight machine. But then afterwards I found out there are everywhere in the States... in California and Louisiana! lol

Here we finish our days in San Diego. Went back to hotel, rest, and next morning heading up to Los Angeles.

Old Town Old Town Review

Fondest memory: After dinner, very full, we walked around the old town a bit to help digestion. There are many nice old houses and handicraft shops. Unfortunately, I found out that those old houses are actually not original, they are re-build, fake. Anyway, nice walking around though.

Dinner Time Old Town Review

Fondest memory: Dying hungry!!! This is our last night in San Diego and we decided to check out Old Town area. I didn't expect there are so many nice restaurants in this little district. We choose to have our dinner at this traditional Mexican place, with live music and freshly made tortilla.

Sunset @ Sunset Cliff La Jolla Review

Fondest memory: I couldn't wait to top-up my tan. Immediately after check-in, I changed to my bikini, lay besides the pool, trying to get the last hour of sun before it get set. My brother was playing with the jacuzzi inside our room. This picture was taken after the tanning session.

Sunset Cliff Information / Sources Review

Fondest memory: After a whole day travelling, we got to check-in our hotel in Sunset Cliff before sunset. This place is much more quiet and local than Mission Bay area, I like it. And the "Inn at Sunset Cliff" I stayed in was absolutely fantastic (check out my hotel tips). The boss is actually an old Chinese guy who is living in Arizona. They had some Japanese and many European customers here, while we were the first Chinese tourists staying in this place.

La Jolla La Jolla Review

Favorite thing: Yubert told me that this should be pronounced as "LA-HO-YA" This supposed to be a Must-See recommended by VTers in the forum. And I must say, very true, this place is the MOST BEAUTIFUL place in San Diego that one cannot miss out. Wild sea lions taking their afternoon nap on the beach, squriels asking for junk food, peaceful walk, deep blue color sea with white waves hitting on cliffs... I can walk around here for hours not feeling boring looking at the nature.

Ocean Beach Beaches Review

Fondest memory: Next to Oceanside is Ocean Beach. Big waves and very windy. Good for surfer, but I think it's too chilling for suntan.

Oceanside Information / Sources Review

Fondest memory: We drive back down along highway 5 towards San Diego downtown, passing by Oceanside and decided to have a look, I read something about this place on VT before. Well... nothing much here actually, just some boat parking, restaurants and resorts. Just a quick drive through and took a few pictures.

Legoland

Fondest memory: Why nobody put Legoland as "must-see"? Pretty fun actually, although those kids gave me an eye when I queue up the airoplane behind them, and the doorman asked me: are you alone? Well... yes, I didn't bring any kids with me, can I get in? lol
