Free Condoms after dinner - Bangkok
Cabbages and Condoms: Free Condoms after dinner Cabbages and Condoms Review

A unique condom-theme restaurnat in an open-air garden setting. Condoms from all over the world are displayed on the walls, like a mesuem. Normally, restaurants will give free gum or menthol after dinner, here, they give free condoms!

Well, the food was not specially good here. We ordered 3 dishes, one asparagus, one fried beef with basil leaves, and one fried fish, only the plain asparagus was good. The fis was too salty and dried. The beef was so-so. I like the environment more than the food here.

Dining in bed? - Bangkok
Bed Supperclub: Dining in bed? Bed Supperclub Review

I didn't eat here, just had some drinks and checked out the dance floor. Bed SupperClub is a combination of upscale restaurant, and dance club with modern and futuristic all white environment setting.

When dining, you got to take your shoes off, lay down and you're at home. Not really good for romantic dinner though becoz you may possibly lay down next to strangers. The small tables are pretty close to each other, and they're always fully book. Good for small group of friends gathering and chating, comfortable!

We paid 600 Bhat for cover charge and drink-as-much-as-you-can the whole night. It was Thursday and dance floor get crowded at around 11pm. The door man was a bit slobby, so be prepared to dress well to get through him.

Hachiban Pork Ramen @ MBK, Bangkok - Bangkok

Hachiban Pork Ramen @ MBK, Bangkok

Hachiban Ramen: JAPANESE RAMEN Hachiban Ramen Review

This is a famous Ramen chain originated from Toyama (Japan), my friend's hometown. Why they called Hachiban? Simply because they have 8 shops along the highway from Toyama to Osaka. Hachiban = 8 in Japanese. According to my friend, the taste here is different from original one in Toyama. BTW, I think it's good though.

Address: Gound Floor, MBK Center.

me & Albert Junior @ Outback, Bangkok (THAILAND) - Bangkok

me & Albert Junior @ Outback, Bangkok (THAILAND)

Outback: AMERICAN AUSTRALIAN @ Siam Outback Steakhouse Review

A part of an Australian inspired Steakhouse chain around the world. Main dishes surround steaks, chicken, pork, seafood & pasta. We had our VT meeting here with Yen_2 and family. Albert Junior kept dancing to the music.

Favorite Dish: I had my Fettuccine with shrimp in white sauce. Good food found here, the food quality here much better than those served in Outback in HK.

Hawker Stall, Bangkok (THAILAND) - Bangkok

Hawker Stall, Bangkok (THAILAND)

SATAY - Hawker Stalls Street Food Review

Satay Cost: 5 Bhat each
You must be careful of what you eat before you purchase from street food stalls. Check over all ingredients carefully for freshness and hygiene. Generally, noodle soups, stir-fry, and satay (hot stuff) tend to be fine. Try to avoid eating anything raw (including vegetables), anything that looks undercooked, or drinks with ice (most places buy ice made from bottled water, only to drag the ice bags along the filthy sidewalks!).

STREET FOOD STALLS Street Food Review

Street stalls are convenient & inexpensive and are popular among public in Bangkok. I was having diner at Convent Road near Silom, with beer bought over from 7-Eleven. The "Tom Yam" soup was good.

Reno Cafe, Bangkok (THAILAND) - Bangkok

Reno Cafe, Bangkok (THAILAND)

RENO CAFE, SIAM Reno Cafe Review

Reno Cafe is attached to Reno Hotel, located in a small lane opposit to MBK. The cafe itself is very cute and clean. It has that retro-art-deco-Miami look to it, despite the fact that there's no beach nearby. They have live band playing music at night, a good chill out place if you live nearby.

Famous Duck Rice, Bangkok (THAILAND) - Bangkok

Famous Duck Rice, Bangkok (THAILAND)

FAMOUS DUCK RICE, SILOM

Ahh... I forgot the name of this easting house. But I remember the taste of the Duck Rice, it was very nice. They serve Teochew style braised duck, with rice or porridge, and soup of the day (Chinese style). It only cost me 68 Bhat for the delicious Duck rice.

Comparison: less expensive than average

Directions: 2 mins walk from BTS Sala Daeng Station. Turn into Convent Road when you see Liberty Square (California Fitness), the eating house in on your right hand side.
