BANGKOK - What a Party Place

by vigi - last update: May 27, 2004

Many people say BANGKOK is city of smile... Indeed Thais really know how to party and enjoy life, they born to be good dancers, party animal. Especially when I went to SONGKRAN Festival, everybody simply dancing on the streets around Khao San Road, no branded outfit, no luxury clubs & deco, free entrance, free music (very good DJs though), cheap drinks from 7-Eleven... These people are poor financially but definately rich spiritually!

I envy you people. How I wish to find more smiling faces in my country.

Wonderful Thai Cuisine

Thai cuisine is one the best in the world. With liberal use of spices, herbs and market-fresh ingredients, combined with Chinese and Indian culinary traditions, retain its own special character. Bangkok offer some of the greatest bargains available on this globe. Check out my Bangkok Food Guide.

Where to Shop in Bangkok...

Bangkok is one of the best and most popular shopping locations in Asia. Among the many things that a visitor can buy here are handicrafts, perfumes, shoes, leather goods, electronics and electronic items, software, hard ware, you name it ..they have it! Prices are low provided that you know how to bargain. Click here for my little Bangkok Shopping Tips.
A-Go-Go Boys & Girls? lol

Party All Nite...

The nightlife scene in Thailand is as varied as the country itself, from beer bars to go-gos, massage, nite shopping market, discos to techno parties. Most dance parties are relaxed and fun, you don't need to dress up, and you won't break the bank. For sure Techno fans cannot miss out MINISTRY OF SOUND. Shall We Dance?.
