My First Snorkelling! Instead of swimming out from beach, my coach asked me to jump into water from our speed boat which stopped in the middle of the sea! Oh my God, this is only my FIRST SNORKELLING, I didn't even practice in a pool before! i can remember how freaky it was. However any fear was soon lost once I realised what I was looking at amazing reefs and fishes.
JUST AMAZING!!!!
The life jacket was very strong so I was not worry after I got into the water.
At first I felt difficult breathing with my snorkeller on, and water keep going in. Plus difficuly to control my body movement with the life jacket on.
Then the coach came hold my hands, he asked me to relax, and adjust my snorkerller (it was to lose). Yes, relax is the factor! With less than 15 mins practices, I can control and enjoy the snorkelling, epecially when I see the beautiful fishes and coral, all my concentration transfered to the fishes instead of worrying my breath. It's so peaceful in the sea... All I can hear was my steady breathing, and All I see was the carol and fishes.
It will be great if you wear a pair of flippers, it ease my movement so I can concentrate on breathing and looking at the fishes. |

The east coast of Malaysia is a mostly undiscovered paradise. I have not made it to Pulau Redang but I have stayed in Merang. Pulau Redang sounds great. |
