Getting TO/AROUND: We went by road, on a coach trip - which is excellent value, however it isn't really long enough as most of the trips are only four days and 1.5 of them is travelling.

Flying is cheap from the UK and London to Paris is about 45 minutes by air.
Walk, or use the metro.
french drivers are maniacs, I'm sure they have to take a test to demonstrate they cannot drive!

Walking is good because you can take everything in and take your time.

The metro is fun, cheap and very efficient!
