A nice four star hotel located close to Nuygati pu railway station and the very large shopping centre right next to it.
The parliament is about 10-15 minutes walk from the hotel. To get to the main city centre it is easiest to take the underground which leaves from Nyugati pu station.
The hotel has a traditional and a bit old-fashioned interior which looked nice.
Friendly staff and everybody spoke English.
Unique Qualities: I was upgraded to a superior room because of my gold card which was really large (32 sq meter) and also had a good view.
There is a nice lobby bar and several restaurants in the hotel including a pretty famous cafe.
The breakfast buffet was very large and offered basically anything you may want in the morning.
At the entrace to the hotel there is a gift shop where you can buy the Budapest card with free entrance to museums and unlimited travel on trams and underground.
There is a fitness centre in the basement with a swimming pool, sauna and a rather limited gym.
