I stayed about 30 mins in this town in southern Thailand, or at least at the airport.
I went by plane from Bangkok and Singapore and the plane landed i Hat Yai enroute.
You may doubt I actually was in Hat Yai but after landing the plane was cleaned and all passengers hat to get off the plane and wait in the departure hall until the plane was ready to continue to Singapore.
