    Getting TO/AROUND: Both domestic and international flights arrive in Wellington International Airport which lies about 8km southeast of the city centre.

    The main international airlines flying into Wellington are Air New Zealand, Qantas, British Airways, United Airlines, Polynesian Airlines, Singapore Airlines, Lufthansa. If you’re arriving on a domestic carrier, however, you will be flying with Air New Zealand, Ansett New Zealand, Air New Zealand Link or Soundsair Ltd.

    Getting TO/AROUND: A new bus service which travels to the top ten spots every ten minutes. These include the Parliament buildings, Lambton Quay, the cable Car, Queen’s Wharf and Courtenay Place as well as several others. Costing $1 per circuit, this service operates between 7.30am and 6.00pm (9.00pm on Thursdays) from Monday to Friday, between 9.00am and 6.00pm on Saturdays and between 9.50am and 6.00pm on Sundays and public holidays.
