Getting TO/AROUND: Another taxi-style mode of transport is the tuk-tuk, an open air three-wheeled vehicle unique to Thailand. It can almost take you anywhere in Bangkok. Rate is usually negiotiated from Baht20 for a very short distance to about Baht100 for a further destination.

Getting TO/AROUND: A new form of transport provides a faster, albeit riskier answer for commuting during peak traffic hours. They can be found at almost every corner and can go anywhere in Bangkok. Fares must be negiotiated.

    BTS Skytrain: Skytrain
  • Tip Rating:
  • 'Mode': AROUND
    Category: Train
Getting TO/AROUND: Skytrains have two railway lines: one from the northern bus terminal at Morchit to Sukhumvit Soi. The other runs frm the National Stadium to Taksin bridge at the end of Sathorn Road. At the Siam Center station, passengers can switch between the lines. Fare is between Baht10 to Baht40.
A one day pass would be Baht100 for unlimited rides for the day.
