Getting TO/AROUND: Taxis are plentiful and quite efficient because they share the sme public transtportation lanes reserved for the bus system and thus avoid most of the heavy traffic flow. Barcelona taxis are all the same colour, black and yellow. The cost is reasonable. Make sure that when you start your trip the meter is turned on that you pay whatever it indicates at the endof your journey. You can check the curent fares, posted in view inside the taxi.

On sep. 3rd called to book a table for sep. 4th 9.30 pm. On sep. 4th at 9.25pm when we asked for our table the answer was 'your table is not avalaible yet'. They took us waiting outdoors and after 20 minuts we went away. Very poor service at all. | vijay75 Tue Mar 23, 2004 12:42 UTC
