|  | 2nd trip to Kauai We loved our week in Kauai so much in Jan. 2001, that this time we spent 2 full weeks there. We found it as wonderful as we did the first time! It still maintains the peaceful, low keyed, low pressure tropical paradise that we fell in love with 2 years ago. |
March vs January Last time we went to Kauai in Jan. This time, we came out in March. Both times were great. In Jan., we found the south shores always nice and the north shore was rough. In March, we found days when the surf south was pretty rough. But those were the days we went to the north and found some great snorkeling up there. Whales were lively both times. The land was the same several shades of green. Seemed like the same flowers were blooming, maybe a few more tiny wild flowers in March. The weather was about the same---low 80's everyday. But we only had rain one day during our 2 week March trip. You might think that's great, but I missed the incredible rainbows after the periodic showers in Jan. | | |

That was a great place you stayed and location. Not a bad place to go back to every 2 years:-) Sounds a nice night out you had. Good for you for trying to scuba dive. |
