Laissez les bon temps rouller

pre-Mardi Gras in the French Quarter - New Orleans
New Orleans is a flatland delicacy, sandwiched in the south by the Mississippi River and on the north by Lake Ponchartrain. Filigreed iron railings, pedigreed gardens, and that renowned New Orleans indulgence make for interesting sightseeing.

I think New Orleans is my favorite place in the world. The attractions are numerous but the saying "Laissez les bon temps rouller" is always in effect.

It has been some time since I was there, but I remember the tram rattling and the wonderful buildings ... and also finding a pearl in a mussle soup :-) Good tips and pictures you have here!

Check your inhibitions at the door, they don't call it Party Gras for nothing!
