My homeland is Hungary, a small country situated in Central Europe. It seems Hungarians had arrived from Middle Asia long time ago, before settled here, but it is not known exactly yet. It is true, we have a strange language (originating from sumerian) which is not similar to any other language.
English is not widely spoken here, so be prepared if you visit our country :)
I am a nature and wildlife lover and I also like to visit historical places, old towns, museums, churches, beaches...
So I enjoy VT, there are lots of beautiful and interesting things to see. Thanks to all for sharing pages :)

Home sweet home

I love old, historical towns

I love the atmosphere of old towns, to walk on the old streets, to admire the wonderful buildings, castles..
One of my favorites is Sopron
The pic of Main Square shows some beautiful monuments of the Middle Ages.

In my small home many of us have a deep-rooted love of horses and interest in horse sports.
A csikos (horseherd) riding five horses somewhere in the Hortobagy

Trogir (Croatia)

The city with 2300 years of tradition. It's rich culture is created under the influence of old Greeks, Romans, Venetians. Trogir with concentration of palaces, churches, towers, fortress on a small island in aevery way deserves it's nickname "THE STONE BEAUTY" .

Zadar(Croatia)

The historical part of Zadar is fascinating, especially for those who respect historical monuments.
St. Donat church is the symbol of the city.
