Welcome to Sioux City. This is a small city with a diverse population and plenty to do if you spend some time looking. It is located on the western border of Iowa (if you are still lost, Iowa is one of those states in the middle of the US). Most of Sioux City is in Iowa, though North Sioux City is in South Dakota and South Sioux City is in Nebraska. Since most of you will never see my fair city, I will try to give you a good virtual tour. Feel free to e-mail me with any questions. This is a photo of the Chief War Eagle Monument that overlooks the city. Chief War Eagle (1785-1851) was a Lakota (Sioux) leader who was a diplomat for his people.
