Santa Fe and Taos

by erikajj - last update: Sep 11, 2002

We were in Santa Fe for a conference and visited Taos on the way home. Santa Fe was beautiful and very welcoming. The people were wonderful. The food was a bit disappointing - I expected better Mexican food that we have in Iowa. Taos was also very nice - make sure to actually learn about the place before you shop. There is some interesting history that you don't learn in textbooks.

I must share the credit on the photos. I shared a camera with two friends in Taos because of the camera registration fee. Thanks, Carrie and Shannon (VT member Mccaslin). And the museum photo is borrowed from the website that I cited.
