Spokane, Washington | Riverfront Park Clock Tower |
Spokane is a smaller city in eastern Washington State. It is surrounded by mountains (with many ski resorts located on them) and farmland.
The Spokane River runs through the center of the city over a series of 3 waterfalls and a dam which makes an impressive sight in the springtime. The winter snow melt swells the river making the waterfalls, and the water flowing over the dam, extremely impressive.

XIVnic Sat Aug 1, 2009 19:49 UTC Oh, I think most people pretend the homeless don't exist anyway. Very Progressive of you; a "no, sorry" does suffice also. | EllenH Wed May 3, 2006 03:13 UTC spent some time at the shriners with my son, liked spokane alot. Sidhe play at some pizza place every sunday night, heard them? | Henkster Fri Nov 26, 2004 11:29 UTC When I was in Spokane as an exchange student, there really was NO nightlife, because I was under 21... Anyhow, it does have some nice shopping and the riverfront park of course...and every once in a while there is even a good concert there! :) | joernme Thu Jan 29, 2004 14:42 UTC Good tips on Spokane! Did not see too much of it last time I had been there. That was in 89, when I was an exchange student in Chehalis, WA. Great area of the the US! You seem to make great shots, show some more of your pics. Regards from Germany! |
