Great American Highways
is a republic in the Northwestern hemisphere of the Planet Earth, that comprises of 48 conterminous states, the District of Columbia, Alaska in North America, and Hawaii in the North Pacific. It is bordered to the East by the Atlantic Ocean, to the West by the Pacific Ocean, Canada to the North, and Mexico to the south. There are an estimated 267,954,767 citizens of this country that expands an massive land expanse in the conterminous states consisting of 3,022,387 sq. mi. (7,827,982 sq. km); with Alaska and Hawaii, 3,615,122 sq. mi. (9,363,166 sq. km). The Capital of the U.S.A. is Washington, D.C. which pretty much composes the entire District of Columbia. "The United States" as it is called, was colonized by a plethera of Europeans from Spain, The Netherlands, France, and Great Britain, that took the land from the Aboriginal inhabitants (often referred to as "Native Americans"), starting in the 16th century and gaining their independence in 1776.
