On this trip I stayed for only 3 days. I did enjoy it but I found it very expensive after coming through Thailand and Malaysia, especially the accomodation. I do find it very ordered and extremely clean. Chewing gum is banned, I think the main reason being that people drop it on the pavement and it makes a mess. And even in the public toilets, you can get fined for not flushing. I was thinking, how do they check this? Generally, I had a great time and it is good for shopping.

I didn't see Michael Jackson but I went into his room at Raffles Hotel and took a couple photos. (He had already checked out three years ago.) See my Singapore page travelogue!
