Addis Ababa is one of those places that you either love or hate. Before I went, I meet a few people who really dislike the place. But I just fell in love with it. There is quite a lot to do, visited churches, museums, art galleries, and they have the biggest market in Africa and it is just amazing. If you don't have a guide you will get totally lost. One of the things that you will really notice is the poverty, it is everywhere and that is quite hard to deal with.

I'm doing a project on Ethiopia at work right now, and found your page to interesting and informative. Good job! I am intrigued by the place, but don't know if I could handle seeing such extreme poverty everywhere.

Thanks for the Addis Ababa info. Nairobi also has lots of beggars... It is hard. But Africa steals your heart, does it not?
