This city has 715,000 <font color=blue>inhabitants</font> of whom more than a third are foreigners and numbers of ethnic minorities from 145 nationalities. <i>Unbelievable, 1/3 are foreigners!!! Is it the root why this city has such a high crime rate?</i>

There're 30,000 students, 9,000 heroin addicts, 7,000 prostitutes and 3,600 police officers. Almost 9,000,000 tourists visit annually. <i>In theory, one police officer should be responsible for 2 prostitutes and 3 heroin addicts. What a terrible job!! </i>

There are 165 <font color=blue>canals</font>, with a total length of 75.5 KM, crossed by more than 1,200 bridges. <i>It seems that even if the Dutch themselves are not sure the exact number of bridges in Amsterdam.</i>

70 canal boats carry 2.400,000 tourists annually. <i>It's strange that there're some tourists didn't take a cruise. Then what can they do in this city? </i>

There're 400,000 <font color=blue>bicycles</font> in the city. <i>Almost 2 inhabitants will have one bike. </i> 50,000 are stolen every year and 10,000 are recovered from the cannel!!!
