Most people who come to <font color=blue>Paris</font> have a dream, an image of what the city will be. The unusual thing about Paris is that almost everyone finds their dream to be true. The City of Light, the City of Love is everything you imagined and more. Overcrowded, overpriced, overvisited, yes. But also the most magical city in France, and, for many people, in the world.
<br>Personally, I think Paris is better than London on touring purpose, but undoubtedly, worse to live as I have no idea about French. :-) Furthermore, I think the people of Paris is not as kind as Brits and its metro system is terrible, even worse than London's underground!

Great photos, Jun! I especially the one of the top of the opera. One correction- the copy of Liberté éclairant le monde (aka the Statue of Liberty) in Paris is not the original, but one of many copies. The original is in NYC- a gift from France to the US. | hevbell Thu Aug 8, 2002 11:16 UTC
